For the past two years Desiree and Paul have been working with Walk Bike Glendale to develop community support for a project we feel would bring tremendous benefit to our region: a pedestrian and bike pathway along the Verdugo Wash alignment from Crescenta Valley Park to to LA River. The proposed path was included in the both the City of Glendale’s and LA County’s 2012 Bike Master Plans.
Our efforts have included meetings with various community groups, homeowner associates and stakeholders to present the idea, and request their support. Our intention is to go before Glendale City Council early next year to ask them to authorize a study be conducted into the feasibility of the project. We’d like to request your support, too!

As a Glendale resident your support holds the most weight with the Council. If you know other Glendale residents you feel would also lend their support, please share this with them. The petition can be signed by anyone, including kids.
